Services for Mr. Truman Lavell Smith will be held 2:30 PM, Wednesday, July 11, 2012 at Providence Baptist Church with burial in the church cemetery. Rev. Jackie Strebeck officiating.

Mr. Smith, 71, of Chunky, died Monday, July 9, 2012 at Jeff Anderson Hospital.

Mr. Smith was a member of Providence Baptist Church for 41 years.

Survivors: Wife of 49 years, Wydell Smith of Chunky, mother, Lorene Smith of Little Rock, four brothers, Cleveland Smith of Decatur, R.D. Smith and wife Elizabeth of Chunky, Jackie Smith and wife Debra of Little Rock, and Wendell Smith and wife Penny of Little Rock, five sisters, Betty Kilpatrick of Little Rock, Tommy Sue Butts of Chunky, Autrice Patterson of Little Rock, Gale Haygood and husband Donnie of Chunky, Retha Hillman and husband Richard of Chunky, and one brother-in-law, James Brooks of Chunky

He was also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father, Roy C. Smith of Little Rock and sister, Quanice Simmons of Little Rock.

Pallbearers: George Dean, Steve Cross, David Alexander, Robert Alexander, Eugene Alexander, Andrew Cooley, Jerry Todd, Samuel McCloud, and Travis Coate

Visitation will be held tonight from 5:30- 8 PM at Milling Funeral Home of Union.
Also visitation one hour prior to service time at Providence Baptist Church.
Milling Funeral Home of Union in charge of arrangements.
