Services for Mrs. Doris A. Harper will be held at 3 p.m. on Monday, September 10, 2012 at Mt. Gilead Baptist Church in Meridian. Rev. Gilbert Eaves will officiate. Milling Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Visitation for Mrs. Harper will be from 1-3 p.m. Monday, September 10, 2012 at Mt. Gilead Baptist Church.

Mrs. Harper, 85, of Meridian, died Saturday September 7, 2012, at her residence.

Mrs. Harper is preceded in death by her parents Harvey and Velma Lancaster; Two brothers, Harvey Eugene Lancaster, and James Harvey Lancaster, Jr.; One great-granddaughter, China Rose Cody

Mrs. Harper was a member of Mt. Gilead Baptist Church.
