Funeral services for Ms. Gertrude “Doll” Booker Hearn, age 89, of Butler were held on Tuesday, February 8, 2011 at 11 A.M. from the Chapel of Bumpers Funeral Home. Rev. Franklin McLelland officiated. Burial followed in the Rest Haven Memorial Gardens.
Ms. Hearn passed away on Sunday, February 6, 2011 at Willow Trace Nursing Center in Butler. She was a retired dietician for Choctaw General Hospital.
She is survived by her son Franklin Hearn (Carol) of Butler; daughter Judy Norrell (Charles) of Tallassee; brothers A.G. Booker (Bobbi) of Wilma; Pat Booker (Frances) of Semmes; Norris Booker (Patricia) of Wilmer; two grandchildren Christy Hearn and Stephen Norrell.
Ms. Hearn was preceded in death by her parents A.G. & Pearl Hearn; brother Carlton Booker; and son William C. “Billy” Hearn.
Pallbearers: Kenny Booker, David Taylor, Larry Booker, Jimmy Thompson, Benny Wayne Smith, Tommy Dailey.
Bumpers Funeral Home of Butler was in charge of arrangements.
