Funeral Services for Ms. Ida Mae Singley, age 90 of Silas, will be held on Monday, January 17, 2011 at 1 P.M. from the Branch Church of God with Rev. Lester Pope, Rev. Randall Hyatt, and Rev. Jimmy Lloyd officiating. Burial will follow in the Advent Cemetery in Silas. Visitation was Sunday, January 16, 2011 at Branch Church of God from 6 until 8 P.M.
Ms. Singley passed away on Saturday, January 15, 2011 at her residence.
She was a retired seamstress.
Ms. Singley is survived by her son Darrell Singley of Waynesboro, MS; daughters Ella Rene Hyatt (Heyward) of Silas; Cheryl Abston (Raymond) of Silas; brother Julius Waite of Mobile; sister Ola Curry of Mobile; 5 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; 1 great-great grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her husband Eber Singley; parents Curtis and Mary Waite; great grandson Jason Tucker Brumley.
Pallbearers: Ronnie Wimberly, Ronnie Singley, Eddie Giles, Rodney Curry, Curtis Wayne Waite, Hal Singley. Honorary Pallbearers: Day Star Hospice: Tracy Wheat, Tracy Chapman, Lee Ann Connor, Savannah McRae, Merry Ann Cummings; Alabama Care Givers: Anita Thornton, Essie Harris, Jowanda McCoy.
Bumpers Funeral Home of Butler will be in charge of arrangements.
