Services are for Ms. Sally Pierce Mauldin of Laurel will be held 3 pm, Sunday, January 23, 2011 at Milling Funeral Home Chapel of Sebastopol with Rev. Mike Miles and Rev. Ed Dickerson officiating. Burial will be in the Rocky Hill Church of God Cemetery. Milling Funeral Home of Sebastopol in charge of the arrangements.
Ms. Mauldin, 92, of Laurel, died Friday, January 21, 2011 in Ridgeland.
She was born on January 27, 1918 to the late: William and Alma Pilgrim.
Two sons: Burma Pierce and wife Fannie, James Pierce and wife Kathy
Stepson: James Roy Mauldin and wife Ruth
Step Daughter: Stephanie M. Dean and husband Bob
6 Grandchildren: Belinda P. Winstead, Brian Pierce, Tracey Pierce, Jeffrey Pierce, Judy B. McQueen, and Henry Brand
4 Step Grandchildren: Abby Dean and Samantha Dean, Ken Mauldin and Lorie Baker
10 Great Grandchildren & 8 Step Great Grandchildren
Sisters: Lela Grace Irby and Bonnie Jean Nowell
Brother: Billy Jo Pilgrim and wife Sue
She was survived by a host of nieces and nephews.
Ms. Mauldin was preceded in death by husbands, George Pierce and Otha Mauldin, daughter, Theda P. Brand, 3 sisters, Claudine Graham, Jewel Irby, Quida Clark, and 2 brothers, William Lee Pilgrim and Lavon Pilgrim
Pallbearers: Brian, Tracey and Jeffrey Pierce, Henry Brand, Josh and John Micheal McQueen, and Holden Winstead
Honorary Pallbearers: Shane and Graham Kelly and Blake Nowell
