After becoming a Navy wife, she, as in everything in her life, did a wonderful job of it. She raised four wonderful children while moving every few years or so. She handled all this with grace and confidence and really made a navy life a good life for her family.

She attended the Church of Christ for 60 years and was a member of the Newton Church of Christ.

She leaves behind her husband of 61 years, Allen Perry of Decatur; two daughters, Deborah Miller and her husband David of Decatur; Carmen Beaubeaux and her husband Jim of Coronado, California; two sons, Carl Perry and his wife Dawana of Zion, Illinois; Christopher Perry and his wife Sherrie of Decatur; seven grandchildren and one Great Granddaughter; 2 sisters: Carol Barlow of American Fork, Utah; Joan Williams of Foley, AL.
