Paula Kate Davidson, 90, of Walnut Grove passed away Thursday, May 12th at her home, where she retired in 1983. Visitation will be Friday, May 13th from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. at the Milling Funeral Home in Sebastapol. Funeral services will be in the Chapel at the Funeral Home on Saturday, May 14th at 10:00 a.m. with burial in the High Hill Baptist Church Cemetery.

Born in Leake County on January 27, 1921, she was the daughter of G. W. (Bob) and Sally Davidson. She was preceded in death by her parents, sisters Mae Langford, Lois Sharp, Betty Upton, brothers Dock Davidson, Charlie Davidson, Rolfe Davidson, Eber Davidson, Clyde Davidson, Doyle Davidson and dear friend, Rosa Allen. She is survived by her sister, Naomi Davidson and many nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews and great great nieces and nephews.

Paula worked for the Mississippi Employment Security Commission in Jackson for 41 years. She was an active member of First Baptist Church in Jackson and a member of the Esther Sunday School class. After retirement, she was active at High Hill Baptist Church, teaching Sunday School and singing in the choir.

She is described as one of the kindest, most humble people you would ever know. She loved the Lord and loved her family.
