Richard Lee “R.L. McLemore

Services for Mr. R.L. McLemore will be held Tuesday at 2 pm at Union Baptist Church in Clarke County with Bro. John Edwards officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery with James F. Webb Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements.

Mr. McLemore, 89, of Quitman, died Wednesday, November 21, 2012 in Louisiana. He was a farmer and enjoyed selling his produce at the Meridian Farmers Market.

He is survived by his nephew, Glover “Mac” McElroy and his wife Susie of St. Rose, La.; great nieces, Gay Rogers and husband Ronnie, Lana Jefcoat and husband Jason, and Sara Rodriguez and husband Andy; great great nephews, Todd Rogers, Linkin Rodriguez and Luke Rodriguez; great great nieces, Abbie and McKenzie Rodriguez.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Lee Amos and Lucy Bell McLemore; sisters, Joyce McLemore and Ruth Smith; and niece, Gail Todd.

Pallbearers will be Andy Rodriguez, Cliff Gavin, Chris Gavin, David Thibodeaux, Jason Jefcoat, and Wesley Lewis.
