VIOLET COSPER MILLER, age 92, of York, Alabama, passed at her residence July 5, 2012. Service of remembrance will be Friday, July 13, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. from Eastern Star Baptist Church, 112 Curl Road, also York. Rev. Charles H. Delaine, pastor, is to deliver the eulogy with interment following in Eastern Star Cemetery. Mrs. Miller will lie in repose one hour prior to funeral time. Visitation for family and friends is Thursday evening (July 12th) from 3-6:00 p.m. in the Weatherly Chapel. The funeral cortege will leave from the Miller residence at 10:40 a.m. Friday morning. After the committal service, the family will fellowship for repast at Trackside Cafe and Lounge.
Those left the cherish precious memories and to celebrate her life are: three daughters: Shirley Thomas and Sharon Miller of York, Ala., and Eunice (Roland) Mitchell, Virginia Beach, Va., three sons: Charlie Miller of Myrtle, Ms., Johnny (Betty) Miller of York, Ala., and Thomas (Elizabeth) Miller of Elgin, Ill., one sister-in-law, Sebelle Rodgers, Ward, Ala., one niece, Georgia Peters of Oakland, Calif., and a very special cousin, Morris Williams of Peoria, Ill., thirty-one (31) grandchildren; fifty (50) great grandchildren; five (5) great great grandchildren; many nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends who loved her dearly.
