Victor Louis Gordon

Services for Mr. Victor Louis “Pop” Gordon will be held 11am, Wednesday, December 14, 2011 at Milling Funeral Home Chapel of Union. Burial will be in Lucern Church of God cemetery. Rev. Howell Thrash and Rev. Jerry Bennett officiating. Milling Funeral Home of Union in charge of the arrangements.

Mr. Gordon 76, of Union, died Monday, December 12, 2011 at Rush Hospital in Meridian.

Mr. Gordon served in the U.S. National Guard. He was a Free and accepted Mason and a member of the Henry Clay Masonic Lodge #485 and also a member of Hamasa Shriners of Merdian. He was retired from Illinois Central Railroad and worked many years for Sistrunk Trucking in Sebastopol. He enjoyed his family and loved his time with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Vicki Keene of Little Rock and Melissa Pinter of Union

1 Son: Ray Gordon of Union

6 Grandchildren

7 Great Grandchildren

2 Brothers:

Sam Alton Henry of Meridian and P.J. Henry of Union

Mr. Gordon is preceded in death by his wife, Sara Gordon; his mother, Felderia Henry and father, Harold Gordon, and son-in-law, Ricky Keene.

Pallbearers: Roger Barrett, Barry Barrett, Orville Barrett, Benny Barrett, Layne McDill, Wayne McDill, Randy McDill, and Glenn Miller

Honorary Pallbearers: Danny Miller, Michael Miller, and Billy Ray Dickerson
