WILLIAM HENRY "Bill" DELAINE, age 78, of the Kinterbish Community of Cuba, Alabama, born to the late LuGusta and Ethel Mae Larkin Delaine, passed February 27, 2011 at 1:15 a.m. at his daughter's residence in Tuscaloosa. Funeral services will be held Saturday, March 5, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. from Zion Hill Baptist Church, Cuba, with pastor Wayne C. Davis, delivering the eulogy. Mr. Delaine will lie in repose one hour prior to funeral time. Interment follows in the Delaine Family plot of Cagus Cemetery. After the committal service, the family will receive friends for repast in the Zion Hill Fellowship Hall. Visitation is scheduled Friday evening (March 4th) from 3-6:00 P.M. at the Weatherly Chapel.

Delaine; one son-Eric Delaine, Atlanta, Ga; one daughter Paulette (Emanuel) Buffer, Jr., Tuscaloosa, Alabama; five stepchildren- Linda Reed, Patricia and Darnell Talison and Michael (Nicole) Talison, all of Chicago, Ill., and Gregory (Marrylon) Talison of Meridian, Ms; three grandchildren- Candace Delaine, Raven Proby and Justin Buffer; one great granddaughter, Kadyn Delaine; one brother- Earnest (Louessia) Delaine; six sisters- Viree (Dennis) Bivens, Windsor, Ct; Orcie Delaine, Bessemer, Al., Cecola Delaine, Atlanta, Ga., Maxine Delaine, Cuba, Ala., Mary Ruth Coleman, Cuba, Al., Jerry (Johnny) Patrick, Whitfield, Al., sisters-in-law; Essie Larkin and Berniece Delaine of Little Rock, Ark; Della Jones, Velma Talison, Brenda McGhee and Jevone (Carl) Smith, all of Chicago, Ill; four brothers-in-law; Johnny Lee (Lula Mae) Talison, Cuba, Ala., Dougher (Martha) Talison, Jr., Lansing, Mich., Aaron (Merle) and Willie Talison, both of Chicago, Illinois; many nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends who loved him dearly.
