Funeral services for William McDonald “Mack” Chapman, 65, of Butler will be held Monday, June 17, 2013 at 2 P.M. from the Nanafalia Baptist Church with Rev. Billy Ballard officiating. Burial will follow in the Nanafalie Cemetery. Visitation will be from 12 Noon until 2 P.M. at the church.
Mr. Chapman passed away Friday, June 14, 2013 at his residence. He was employed with S&M Transport.
Survivors include his son William McDonald Chapman, Jr. of Pine Hill; daughter Susanna Few of Pine Hill; two grandchildren; sister Patsy Hallman of Butler; brothers Charles Chapman of Elmore, AL; and Sam Hallman of St. Louis, MO; and a host of nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents Buren Chapman and Lucille Cavaniss Chapman.
Pallbearers are Patrick Hallman, Mark Hallman, Jonathan Bonner, Brandon Sanderson, Travis Jenkins, and Anthony Jenkins; Honorary Pallbearers are S&M Truck Drivers.
On behalf of the Chapman, Hallman, and Diamond families, we sincerely thank each and every one of you. Uncle Mack touched all of us especially the drivers and employees of S&M trucking. He was proud of each one of the children he helped raise and to whom he was a mentor.
