First of all...Cheri never worked an 8-5 at the Red Cross. She was on 24 hour call there. Lots of nights when you were all snuggled in your beds sound asleep, Cheri was recieving a call at 2 or 3 in the morning that there was a house fire or other disaster. She then would stay out all night and all the next day helping the victims. I just love it when people talk about stuff that they know nothing about...so classy. I would like for you to try just one day to walk in her shoes and do everything that she does...I bet you would be eager to change your opinions. Second of all, building with old brick is smart...one..because it would save money-duh, two...reusing historical brick from part of the city would be meaningful and cherishable. Most of you didn't get that...lots of you had to dig around and find something negative to say about it. I also love it when people twist and turn other people's words around to make it sound like they are hateful or racist. Great Job Meridian!!

VOTE PERCY BLAND JUNE 2ND. I KNOW PERCY PERSONALLY AND CHERRI HAVE TALKED AT ME. ONCE SHE REALIZED I LIVED IN THE COUNTY SHE WAS NOT INTERESTED IN CONVERSATING ANYMORE SINCE I CAN'T VOTE. THAT SHOWS SHE IS OUT FOR A VOTE AND TO MAKE HISTORY AS THE FIRST FEMALE MAYOR. HOW DO I KNOW THAT. SHE SAID THAT WAS HER GOAL WHEN SHE WAS TALKING AT ME. YOU WILL SUPRISED WHAT YOUR CAN FIND OUT IN THE NAIL SHOP. WE NEED HISTORY TO BE MADE BY BRINGING MORE OPPORTUNITIES TO A CITY THAT IS SLOWLY DYING. WHO CARES WHETHER IT IS MALE OR FEMALE. MAKE THE RIGHT CHOICE BY VOITNG PERCY BLAND.

It seems some people have some personal ties to the candidates, ha ha. As an "outsider" and new resident of Meridian within the last year - I will be proud to vote for Mr. Percy Bland because he seems to be the candidate that is truly for the people and not just boosting up himself, what was Cheri thinking about with the ice cream bit and talking about a building with old bricks for black americans?
