Medicaid Director, Attorney General Trade Accusations
Jackson, Miss. Mississippi's Medicaid director and attorney general are accusing each other of sloppy work.

Medicaid's Bob Robinson told Mississippi lawmakers Wednesday that Attorney General Jim Hood refuses to prosecute $24 million in alleged fraud by a provider.
Hood said in an interview later that Robinson has mismanaged Medicaid and should resign. He says if Medicaid officials showed him a particular fraud case, his staff has pursued it.
Medicaid is a government health program for the needy and disabled.
Robinson said he believes the fraud occurred a couple of years ago when a behavioral services provider overcharged to drive patients to medical facilities where they were shown movies.
Hood says Robinson has tried to protect a hospital that filed for bankruptcy.

go back to the old days when no one had money, every one was poor. no one had their hair done once a week, or their nails done for whatever they wanted the design to be. AND NO ONE WAS BIG AND FAT BECAUSED THEY WORKED IN THE GARDEN AND DID WHATEVER THEY HAD TO DO TO TAKE CARE OR THEIR CHILDREN!!! NOW EVERYTHING IS FREE, JUST GO TO THE MEDICAID OFFICE!!!! WE DIDNT HAVE THIS PROBLEM WHEN PEOPLE HAD PRIDE IN THEIRSELVES.

medicaid, yeh, it is supposed to be for the disabled and needy, but just look at the finger nails and hair on these people that are on medicaid, that work at minimum wage jobs. Most are young people that have children, but yet they have more than i do. get real. PUT YOUR PRIORITIES WHERE THEY BELONG AND QUIT TAKING HANDOUTS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1
