2 large croissants
1/2 cup fresh strawberries, coated with sugar for an hour
1 Tbsp. cream cheese
- 3 eggs
- 1 1/2 Tbsp. Half & Half
- 1 tsp. of vanilla
- 1 tsp. cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp. of nutmeg
1. Cut the tops off of the croissants to allow even cooking. Slice the croissants in half, lengthwise.
2. In a large hot skillet, melt 1/2 Tbsp. butter. Soak the croissants in the egg wash and place cut side down in the skillet. Cook until browned then flip.
3. Place 1/2 Tbsp. of the softened cream cheese on the bottom half of each croissant. Cook until browned and move to plate.
4. Spoon 1/4 cup of strawberries over the cream cheese on the bottom halves, spreading the cheese over the entire length. Top with the other half of croissant and sprinkle heavily with powdered sugar.
Serve with sausage, eggs, and fresh fruit.
