Ingredients
1/2 cup cooked bacon, diced
1 oz. bacon grease
1/4 onion, diced
1/4 red pepper, diced
1/4 green pepper, diced
1 1/2 cups tomato juice
1 1/2 cups pineapple juice
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
1/2 tsp. garlic
Slurry
1/4 cup corn starch
1/4 cup water
Directions
1. Sauté peppers, onions, and bacon in bacon grease for approximately 2 minutes, add tomato and pineapple juice, brown sugar and salt, pepper, and garlic to skillet. Bring to simmer.
2. Add slurry as needed to thicken to a medium consistency. Top wild greens and heart tomato.
3. Add accruements of sliced boiled egg, sliced carrot, green onions, broccoli florets, black olives, Parmesan cheese, cheddar cheese and enjoy.
