The United Way will be collecting used school uniforms, to be recycled next school year.

The collection will be May 3 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Wal-Mart on Highway 19 North in Meridian.

Hot dogs and soft drinks will also be for sale, to raise money for the purchase of new uniforms.

All uniforms will be donated to the Each One Reach One School Re-Uniform Program at Wesley House.

The United Way say supplies are very low right now and with the end of the school year fast approaching, it is a great time to recycle uniforms.
