Children Tell What "Green" Means to Them Save Email Print

Students in Meridian participated in an art contest, "What Green Means to Me", in conjunction with the city's "greening" efforts.

Harris Elementary School second grader, Qualynn Desmond, had the winning entry.

Younger students in Meridian Public Schools, Lamar School, St. Patrick Catholic School and Calvary Christian School submitted their art work. Older
students wrote a short essay.
