Some leadership changes will be coming to the Neshoba County School District next year, as superintendent V.C. Manning will be stepping down.

School board president Randy Deweese said that Manning did not turn in his resignation at the school board meeting Monday night and that he has not spoken with him as of Tuesday.

But a school district employee confirmed to Newscenter 11 that Manning told employees Tuesday that he was leaving his post, saying "it's time".

Newscenter 11 was unsuccessful in reaching Manning.
