Alabama Gov. Bob Riley will meet with the board on September 12 in Montgomery. Since March, UWA's Board of Trustees has been divided with its members meeting at the same time in different locations.
The split was sparked by a disputed appointment by the board. Once the controversy is resolved, school officials say the board will be able to "officially" vote on whether or not to increase tuition.
