The Lauderdale County School Board addressed reorganization during its Thursday meeting.
The board said it wanted to arrange administrative responsibilities to make them consistent across the district.
Superintendent Randy Hodges said there are many reasons why this is necessary.
"One example is us being held accountable for our new models the state department will implement next year," said Hodges. "Our progress monitoring, we'll be responsible for."
Hodges said, in some case, assistant principals will be moved up to principal positions.

"In some cases, assistant principals will be moved up to principal positions." Does this mean that those principals will be moved into assistant principal or teacher positions? Does anybody have some information as to what this is about?
