Parents and administrators met again at the Wesley House looking to solve problems within the district.

It was another jam-packed community forum as many residents turned out to voice concerns and hear feedback from Meridian Public Schools' superintendent Charlie Kent.

During the first hour, Kent answered submitted questions as well as impromptu questions from the audience. During the second hour, three breakout sessions were held addressing specific concerns including communication and school violence and discipline.

Many expressed confused over a few of Kent's statements during Sunday's summit at Fifth Street Baptist Church. Kent said "there were some elephants in the room," but he didn't elaborate on that statement. Parents wanted answers during the forum.

An audience member made a stride toward action regarding increasing security measures by donating security camera for one of the school buses. One camera will also be donated to Lauderdale County Public Schools.
