Members of the Lauderdale County 4-H Club showed off their projects that have involved many hours of work during the last several months.
The 44th Annual Junior Livestock Show gave young people a chance to show off animals they have raised.
Officials say the experience is a great one, and can also be profitable.
"There will be a sale tonight, and these kids use that money for their projects," said Traci Robertson, 4-H Youth Livestock Agent. "And they also use it for scholarships to save money for their future education. "
Next, the 4-Hers go on to compete at the district show in Hattiesburg and the state show at the Dixie National Rodeo in Jackson.
