Alabama state school Superintendent Joe Morton said he will order a review of vending machine products sold to students.

Morton said he also plans to look into other nutritional and health-related issues involving public schools.

He said the reason for taking a closer look is that altering choices might help combat the state's battle with childhood obesity.
