The summer camp continues through July 22 at the church's old location on 26th Avenue, near the subway in Meridian.
It has educational and physical activities planned from 7:30 to 4:30, Monday through Friday.
"We wanted them to get positive things," said coordinator Beverly Hopson. "We make sure that whatever goes on is very positive. We don't tolerate negativity. We want nothing but the best things for our kids of today."
The 8-week program is also providing breakfast, lunch and a snack for the kids who participate.
