Harges Steps Down in Forest

Fletcher B. Harges, superintendent of the
Forest Municipal School District, has resigned.

School board attorney Tommy Lee told the Scott County Times that the resignation becomes effective June 30.

Harges is in his second year of a two-year contract, which expires at that time.

His resignation came last week during a board meeting and a closed session to discuss Harges' annual evaluation.
