Primm Leaving Sumter County Schools

Sumter County superintendent, Dr. Fred Primm, has agreed to take the same position with Bessemer City Schools in Jefferson County.

In a letter to the Sumter County School Board, Primm stated that July 5 will be his final day in his current position.

According to The Birmingham News, Primm beat out Starkville's assistant superintendent for the job.

Primm was one of five candidates interviewed last month.

Primm has worked as Sumter County's superintendent since 2005.

What a tragic loss for Sumter County! But no one can blame Dr. Primm. Check out the Sumter County Record Journal Online and see what idiotic FOOLS he had to deal - both on the Board and parents. You people are pathetic. Whining and complaining about your own petty griefs instead of trying to build a FUTURE for your CHILDREN!!! I work with them. Let me tell you what they won't - they are just as disappointed in YOU as I am!!!!! THAT is your legacy.
