Students at Ross Collins Career Center have gone through steps they'll need to master in the real workforce.
The Career Pathways class just completed a unit on professional attire and effective interviewing techniques.
Students went through mock job interviews Wednesday to give them a sense of what to expect when actually applying for a job.
"It helps for the students to go through this process, said Career Pathways instructor Deidre Bland. "Number 1, to build confidence so that when they do go on an interview they'll be familiar with what is to come. They'll be familiar with some of the top interviewing questions and how to go about answering those questions, so that they can stand out amongst the other candidates that are applying for positions that they're also applying for."
Bland says these students are all seniors who will soon be ready to enter the job market.
