MSU Loses Riddell for Season

An MRI exam has confirmed quarterback Josh Riddell suffered a torn ACL in his left knee in Saturday's loss to South Carolina, and he'll miss the rest of the season.

Riddell did pass for over 100 yards and a touchdown against the Gamecocks.

MSU will not go with Wesley Carroll as its starter this Saturday against UAB with Chris Relf as the backup. The good news is that Michael Henig returned to practice Monday.

He's missed the last two games with a broken bone in his right hand. It's not known if Henig will be available this weekend for MSU's homecoming contest with the Blazers.
