Cats Eye Oak Grove

On the prep football scene, Meridian and Oak Grove will continue what has turned into a pretty bitter rivalry between the two schools.
This Friday night, the Wildcats will travel to Oak Grove to meet the Warriors with first place in the division up for grabs.
Last year, Oak Grove won the regular season meeting, but the Cats avenged that loss with a dramatic last-second victory in the Class 5A South State championship game.
Both teams enter this year's contest with 2-0 division records.
Kickoff Friday night at Oak Grove is set for 7:00 p.m.
