Lamar Reaches New Heights in MPSA Poll

This week's high school football poll is out and Lamar keeps inching its way up the rankings.

After a huge come-from-behind victory over Jackson Academy last week at Grey Cobb Field, the Raiders have been rewarded with their highest ranking of the year in the Associated Press MPSA Poll.

Mac Barnes' squad was picked second behind undefeated Jackson Prep.

Lamar is now 6-1 and faces Oak Hill on Friday night.
