"The Sportsplex is another big step forward for Noxubee County. It will
greatly enhance our quality of life and boost our efforts to attract new
residents and new businesses. Within 3 years we will have a Civic
Center, a Sportsplex, and an impressive looking high school all
clustered together on Highway 45 which is the gateway through Noxubee
County. Once the paving and landscaping is complete, Noxubee County
will have a showplace we can all be proud of."
- Brian Wilson, Executive Director, Noxubee Economic & Community
"The Sportsplex will be a great asset to our own citizens but it will
also give us the opportunity to host tournaments and generate revenue
from our out-of-town visitors. It just makes good business sense for
Macon to pool our resources with the county and the school district so
we can build the best facility possible."
- Bob Boykin, Mayor of Macon
"It's the right thing to do for the children of Noxubee County."
