Former MHS Duo Signs D-I

After two years of JUCO ball at Pearl River, a pair of former Meridian High players area headed to the next level.

Defensive back Jamie Hill signed to play with Division I-AA Central Arkansas next season. The Bears compete in the Southland Conference.

"I feel really good about Central Arkansas, I felt comfortable," Hill said. "They have real nice facilities."

T.J. Harper will play offensive line for East Carolina. He picked the Pirates over Conference USA foe Southern Miss.

"I know Southern Miss is closer to home, but East Carolina offered much better things to me and offered me a better opportunity with my major," said Harper.
