Ole Miss Climbs in Basketball Poll

Mississippi moves up to 18 from 22 in the weekly Associated Press top-25 men's college basketball poll. Ole Miss is 12-0.

Ole Miss set a record for consecutive wins to start the season last Friday after beating Southern Miss in a 78-58 victory in Southaven.

It was the Rebels' 12th straight win.

Meanwhile, North Carolina remains the top-team in the AP poll. The Tar Heels received 45 first place votes while number-two Memphis got 26 and third-ranked Kansas one. The Heels are unbeaten in 13 games while Memphis is 11-0 and Kansas 13-0 as well. This week's fourth ranked team is Washington State with UCLA fifth.

The second five this week features Michigan State, Georgetown, Tennessee, Duke and Marquette.
