Rebels Stay Perfect on Hardwood

David Huertas scored 17 points and No. 18 Mississippi won its school-record 13th straight game, 86-50 over Alabama A&M on Wednesday night.

The Rebels (13-0) opened the game with a 13-0 run and led the Bulldogs (3-7) by as many as 28 points late in the first half.

Chris Warren added 15 points for Ole Miss, while Eniel Polynice had 13 and Dwayne Curtis finished with 10 points and 10 rebounds.

The previous record for consecutive victories was 12, set in 1926.

LaNorris Smith led Alabama A&M with 12 points and Andrew Williams had 10.
