Austin Named Ole Miss Offensive Coordinator

Ole Miss has named Kent Austin as its offensive coordinator.

The former Rebel quarterback takes over an offensive unit that ranked 92nd in total yards in 2007.

Austin has spent 15 years in the Canadian Football League as a player and coach, including last year when he led the Saskatchewan Roughriders to the Grey Cup title in his first year at the helm.

With the hire, Houston Nutt has completed his first Ole Miss staff.
