Gulfport High School has turned to an experienced coach to revive its football fortunes.
Mike Justice was named yesterday (Wednesday) as the new head football coach at Gulfport.
The 57-year-old Justice succeeds Marcus Wood, who resigned in November following a 1-9 season.
Justice's 30-year resumDe includes four state championships and a 263-79 won-loss record. He won two state titles at Louisville, one at Calhoun City and one in 1999 at Madison Central.
He comes to Gulfport after coaching at Oxford, Alabama, High School. Justice plans to be on the job in Gulfport by April 1st.
