Ole Miss lost at home for the first time in 11 games. Chris Warren and Zach Graham had 14 points apiece and David Huertas had 13 for the Rebels.
Huertas hit a three-point shot that gave Ole Miss a 77-75 lead with 1:25 left. South Carolina forced another miss by the Rebels with 39 seconds left and got the final decisive shot by Archie.
The Rebels hurried to the front court for a final shot, but Warren stepped out of bounds with just over a second to play.
