Brittany Roberts scored 28 points with a 78-52 victory over Franklin County in Friday's Girls 3A championship game at the Mississippi high school state tournament.
The victory gave SE Lauderdale, (36-1), its 14th win in a row and the schools' second state title in three years. The Lady Tigers only loss came against Raymond, a team they defeated in the state tournament semifinals last Saturday.
SE Lauderdale took a 21-13 first quarter lead and was never challenged. The Lady Tigers led 37-18 at the half.
Martika Ivy added 17 points and 15 rebounds and Lucy Ruffin finished with 17 points and 11 rebounds for Southeast Lauderdale, which out rebounded Franklin County 51-25.
Franklin County, (26-11), was led by Shareka Hunt and Paige Webster with 14 points each and Monea Cameron with 12.
