Nidiffer hit a two-run home run in the sixth inning as the Wildcats (25-5, 7-5 Southeastern Conference) scored four total runs to take a 7-6 lead.
Connor Powers hit three home runs, part of a 4-for-4, four RBI day to lead the Bulldogs (14-17, 3-9 SEC).
James Paxton (3-0) performed well at times in relief, working 3 1/3 innings and allowing two hits for the win.
Bulldog reliever Michael Busby took the loss, working 2 1/3 innings, allowing two hits and three runs.
