Cody Overbeck drove in three runs to lead Mississippi to a 5-2 win over South Carolina on Saturday.
The Rebels (25-14, 10-7 Southeastern Conference) scored a run in each of the final four innings to break an eight-game winning streak for the Gamecocks (28-11, 10-7).
Sean Stuyverson had three of Ole Miss' 12 hits, including a sixth-inning RBI single that put the Rebels ahead 2-0.
Whit Merifield had two of South Carolina's six hits and his RBI single in the seventh cut the Gamecocks' deficit to 3-1.
Rebels starter Drew Pomeranz (4-1) allowed a run and four hits in six innings to get the win. Scott Biddle allowed two hits and a run, striking out five in three innings to get his fourth save.
South Carolina starter Will Atwood (4-2) allowed seven hits and two runs in six innings to pick up the loss.
The teams have each won a game in the three-game series, which wraps up Sunday.
