Logan Power and Cody Overbeck hit back-to-back home runs in the first inning and Logan Williams added a three-run homer as Mississippi beat Arkansas 12-4 Friday night.
Dallas Keuchel (3-2) gave up all three home runs to the Rebels (28-15, 11-8), who used the win to strengthen their hold on first place in the Southeastern Conference Western Division. Their third straight win gives them a lead of three games over Alabama and 3 1/2 games over the Razorbacks (24-18, 7-11).
Lance Lynn (6-1) picked up the win, striking out six in five innings. But he wasn't his sharpest, walking five and allowing a home run. Scott Bittle pitched four innings of one-hit relief, striking out nine.
Power's two-run single in the sixth inning made it 9-4 and helped put Arkansas away. Power was 3-for-4 and four other Rebels had two hits apiece.
