Mississippi State guard Ben Hansbrough says he's transferring and is choosing Notre Dame over Oklahoma State and Purdue.

Hansbrough is a 6-foot-3 guard who started 28 of 34 games last year and helped Mississippi State reach the second round of the NCAA tournament.

He averaged 10.5 points per game and is the younger brother of AP Player of the Year Tyler Hansbrough of North Carolina.
