BATON ROUGE, La. (AP) -- Starter Jared Bradford (9-4) on Sunday allowed only four runs in six innings of work to help LSU defeat Mississippi State 9-6.
The win allowed the Tigers (35-16-1 overall and 15-11-1 SEC) to sweep the weekend series against MSU (20-32 and 7-20 SEC) and was the team's 12th straight win.
Ryan Duffy helped the Bulldogs get an early 2-0 lead with a first-inning home run.
Justin Pigott (2-3) took the loss for MSU.
