MCC had nearly avenged their 10-0 loss to Gulf Coast in the MACJC state tournament, but then the rains came. The Eagles were up 4-2 on Gulf Coast in the seventh inning when lightning forced officials to stop play. The Eagles will take the field at 10 AM on Thursday to finish up their first round game in the Region 23 tournament.
