Mississippi junior Brittney Reese has been named the SEC Female Field Athlete of the Year for the second time in row.
Reese got the honor yesterday (Monday). She was the nation's top long jumper for the entire season. Reese won the individual long jump title in every meet she competed in this year, including setting the world's longest jump this year with a school record mark of 22 feet, 9 inches at the LSU Alumni Gold.
Reese won the commissioner's trophy at the SEC Championships and has won back-to-back outdoor conference championships.
