Saturday night at Whynot Motorsports park.
McDuffie took the lead on the first lap from fast qualifier and pole
sitter Steve Bryan of Collinsville, and raced unchallenged to the
Bryan managed to hang on for second. Chris Jimerson of Butler, AL
claimed third by holding off Larry Murphy by a nose at the finish line.
Andy Pippin of Toomsuba picked up his first win of the season in a wild
and entertaining Open Wheel Modified feature. Tim Rutledge of
Whynot took second with son Kyle Rutledge third.
David James of Meridian won his fifth feature race of the season in the
Heavy Metal Street Stocks. Brian Holley of Philadelphia, finished second
with Eric Mazingo of Butler, AL third.
After winning the Mini Stock Summer Championship last week, Bill Bunyard
continued his hot streak winning his third straight feature. Jennifer
Shelton of Toomsuba finished second, with Johnny Pearson third.
Robi Dearing of Meridian won his third feature in a row in the Stingers.
Tim Dees of Meridian finished second, with Charles Keene Jr. third.
Casey Campbell won the Cruiser feature.
