Mike Hampton will make his second rehabilitation start Wednesday for the Double-A Mississippi Braves.
Hampton hasn't pitched in the major leagues since 2005 after two elbow surgeries. He earned a spot in the Braves' starting rotation in spring training, but has strained his left pectoral muscle twice since.
The left-hander will start in a home game against the Carolina Mudcats. He gave up six hits and two runs in five innings against Jacksonville on July 10 in his first rehab start with Mississippi.
