Southern Miss will retire Reggie Collier's No. 10 in advance of the former record-setting quarterback's induction into the Mississippi Sports Hall of Fame.
Athletics Director Richard Giannini says the retirement ceremony will take place during the Oct. 11 game against Boise State. The Hall of Fame ceremony is this weekend.
Collier played for the Golden Eagles from 1979-82 and still holds a number of records. He became the school's coordinator of athletic development and community relations in 2004.
Southern Miss earlier retired the numbers of Brett Farve and Ray Guy.
