Peyton Manning has attended his first practice with the Indianapolis Colts since he had knee surgery just over five weeks ago.
Manning accompanied the Colts to their first practice session at the new Lucas Oil Stadium on Tuesday. He wore a team jersey and shorts, with an elastic band around his left knee.
He appeared to walk without much problem. Manning had surgery July 14 to remove an infected bursa sac.
Manning didn't wear pads and didn't warm up with his teammates before the practice session.
Coach Tony Dungy said Monday that Manning might begin practice next week.
